• Flight Information Service (FIS) : 안전하고 효율적인 비행을 수행하는 데 필요한 조언과 정보를 제공할 목적으로 제공되는 업무. 
• Flight Level (FL) : 특정한 기압(1013.2 hPa)을 기준하여 특정한 기압 간격으로 분리된 일정한 기압면.

 참고 1 : 표준 대기에 따라 보정된 고도계의 유형

          a. QNH 고도계 수정치로 수정하는 경우, indicate altitude를 나타냄.

          b. QFE 고도계 수정치로 수정하는 경우, QFE reference datum으로부터의 높이(height)를 나타냄.

          c. 1013.2 hPa 기압으로 수정하는 경우, flight level를 나타내기 위해 사용될 수 있음.

 참고 2 : 위 참고 1에서 사용된 "height"와 "altitude"는 기하학적인 높이/고도라기보다는 고도계적인 것을 나타내는 것임.

• Flight Path Monitoring : ATC clearance 조건의 편차를 포함하여 명목상의(nominal) flight path에서 상당한 편차와 관련된 정보와 조언을 항공기에 제공하기 위한 목적으로 ATS surveillance system을 이용하는 것. / 참고 - 일부 application은 flight path monitoring 기능을 지원하기 위해 레이더와 같은 특정 기술이 필요할 수 있음.
• Flight Plan : 항공기의 계획된 비행 또는 비행의 일부분에 관해 항공 교통 업무 기관에서 제출하는 일정한 형식의 특정 정보서. / 참고 -  비행 계획에 관한 자세한 사항은 ICAO Rules of the Air, Annex 2에 수록되어 있음. Model Flight Form은  ICAO Rules of the Air and Air Traffic Services, PANS-RAC (Doc 4444), Appendix 2 and ATC section에 포함되어 있음.
• Flight Visibility : 비행 중인 항공기의 조종석에서 전방으로 보이는 시정. (주간에는 항공기 조종실로부터 현저한 물체를 보고 식별할 수 있으며, 야간에는 등화 시설 등 현저한 물체를 볼 수 있고 식별할 수 있는 평균 수평거리.)
• Flight Watch (USA) : Enroute Flight Advisory Service를 제공하는 flight service station을 식별하기 위해 공대지 통신에서 사용하기 위한 단축된 용어. 예 : "Oakland Flight Watch"
• Flow Control : 공역의 가장 효율적인 활용을 보장하기 위해 주어진 route를 따라 또는 주어진 비행장으로 향하는 교통 흐름을 조정하도록 설계된 방식. (일정한 공역, 비행로, 비행장에 입출항하는 교통흐름을 조정하여 공역 활용의 극대화를 도모하는 관제 방식.)
• Forecast : 특정한 시간 또는 기간 및 특정한 지역 또는 공역의 일부에 예상되는 기상 상태에 대한 설명.
• GAMET Area Forecast : 비행 정보 구역 또는 그의 일부(하위) 구역에 관한 저고도 비행을 위한 평문 약어로 된 구역 예보를 말하며 관련 기상 당국 간 합의에 따라 관련 기상 당국이 지정한 기상청이 작성하여 인접 비행정보구역 내의 기상청과 교환함. 
• GBAS-Landing System (GLS) : GBAS(Ground-Based Augmentation System)에 의해 증강된 GNSS를 primary navigational reference로 활용해 approach 및 landing operation을 위한 시스템.

• Flight Information Service (FIS) : A service provided for the purpose of giving advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights.
• Flight Level (FL) : A surface of constant atmospheric pressure which is related to a specific pressure datum, 1013.2 hectopascals (hPa), and is separated from other such surfaces by specific pressure intervals.

Note 1 : A pressure type altimeter calibrated in accordance with the Standard Atmosphere.

• Flight Plan : Specified information provided to air traffic services units, relative to an intended flight or portion of a flight of an aircraft. / Note - Specifications for flight plans are contained in ICAO Rules of the Air, Annex 2. A Model Flight Form is contained in ICAO Rules of the Air and Air Traffic Services, PANS-RAC (Doc 4444), Appendix 2 and ATC section.
• Flight Visibility : The visibility forward from the cockpit of an aircraft in flight.
• Flight Watch (USA) : A shortened term for use in air-ground contacts to identify the flight service station providing Enroute Flight Advisory Service; e.g., "Oakland Flight Watch."
• Flow Control : Measures designed to adjust the flow of traffic into a given airspace, along a given route, or bound for a given aerodrome, so as to ensure the most effective utilization of the airspace.
• Forecast : A statement of expected meteorological conditions for a specified time or period, and for a specified area or portion of airspace.
• GAMET Area Forecast : An area forecast in abbreviated plain language for low-level flights for a flight information region or sub-area thereof, prepared by the meteorological office designated by the meteorological authority concerned and exchanged with meteorological offices in adjacent flight information regions, as agreed between the meteorological authorities concerned.
• GBAS-Landing System (GLS) : A system for Approach and Landing operations utilizing GNSS, augmented by a Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS), as the primary navigational reference.
