Precision approach procedure의 경우, 항공기의 크기(dimension)는 OCH 계산의 요소이기도 함. Category DL 항공기의 경우, 필요한 경우 추가적인 OCA/H가 제공됨.

- Aircraft Approach Category (ICAO) : The ICAO table, depicted in the ATC section "Flight Procedures (DOC 8168) Arrival and Approach Procedures", indicates the specified range of handling speeds (IAS in Knots) for each categroy of aircraft to perform the maneuvers specified. These speed ranges have been assumed for use in calculating airspace and obstacle clearance for each procedure.

- Aircraft Identification : A group of letters, figures or combination therof which is either identical to, or the coded equivalent of, the aircraft call sign to be used in air-ground communications, and which is used to identify the aircraft in ground-ground air traffic services communications.
- Aircraft - Large Aircraft (LACFT) : Term used when referring to ICAO aircraft category DL standard dimensions: wing span - more than 65m/213ft (max 80m/262ft); and/or vertical distance between the flight paths of the wheels and the glide path antenna - more than 7m/23ft (max 8m/26ft).
